Art fotografie | Nachtvinder eerste Nachtfestival te Ede Landgoed Kernhem 21 oktober 2022 van 21.00 - 23.00 uur

The contribution of me Albert van 't Slot fotografíe to the first festival, consisted of opening the existing exhibition of mine in house Kernhem in Ede.

In consultation with Tineke Roseboom and me, opening the exhibition was not done because it was impossible to check who went in and out. It was then decided to make it only visible to the public from outside, which meant that all the lighting inside had to be adjusted, which I did during the day, so at night, when it was dark, it looked as if the lights were on. I then went through all the lighting again and dimmed it as much as possible so that I also created a mystical atmosphere from the outside. This atmosphere was enhanced by burning tea lights in the windowsills of Kernhem house (on the outside, of course).
With hindsight, I should probably have switched off some lights, but we know better with hindsight and it only lasted two hours from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Short but powerful, the whole thing was reinforced by the fact that the Kernhem property was illuminated on the outside.

The photos they are not all of excellent quality But I think In the context of night finder this should not be a problem. And that the whole thing does fit within the framework of the mystique of Nightfinder.
 

At night, your senses are on alert. You hear better, you feel better, your intuition is on. An ideal time to go on a journey of discovery. Friday 21 October 2022 you can do so from 9 p.m. on the Kernhem estate. Walk, enjoy and wander past sound fields by Remco de Kluizenaar, created with the voice of Tineke Roseboom. Stroll along magically lit paths by Dirk Schlebusch. Maybe you will find stillness with Saskia van Caspel, get carried away with the night poetry of Larissa Verhoeff (recited by Henriëtte de Graaf), linger to the calm night sounds of BARTH. or you might just bump into dancers of 24DC. There is so much beauty to be found in the night, you just have to come and undergo.

Not only do we feed your nocturnal spirit, after the walking tour we also feed your nocturnal inner being. Especially for NACHTVINDER, BlijvenGaan Catering has designed food that suits the night. Good food, good drinks, close to the mysterious house Kernhem and there the band Tobermore will play acoustic folk to end the special night nicely.

This exciting night festival is curated by well-known Edese soprano Tineke Roseboom. Together with artist friends from Ede and Wageningen, she is making her dream of the ideal night come true. The night is beautiful!

NACHTVINDER starts 21 October 2022 9pm and the last tour ends at 11pm. The location is on the Kernhem estate around Huis Kernhem in Ede.
